Using the service

You may use PromptLikeEngineer to store, version, and reuse your own prompts across the web app, the CLI, and the MCP server. You are responsible for the content you create and for keeping your account credentials safe. Do not use the service to break the law, abuse the AI features, or attack the platform or other users.

Plans and payment

Free is free. Paid plans (Pro and Team) and one-time top-ups (MicroBoost) are billed through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, under their payment terms. Prices and included limits are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice for future billing periods.

Automatic renewal and free trials

Pro and Team renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as you chose) and are charged to your payment method until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal.

Where a free trial is offered, a payment method is required to start it and the subscription becomes a paid one when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. The checkout and the pricing page state the trial length. There is one trial per customer.

Cancellation and downgrade

You can cancel any time under Billing in your dashboard: Manage billing opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, where you can cancel the subscription. Paid features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: your prompts, projects, and version history remain readable and exportable. Beyond the Free limits you cannot create new items or commit new versions until you trim down or upgrade again.

Refunds

Payments are collected by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. If you were charged in error, for example you cancelled before a renewal or before the end of a trial and were still charged, email zeynepaslierhan@gmail.com and we will look into it and refund the charge where that is warranted. Nothing in these terms limits any right to a refund or to withdraw from a purchase that you have under mandatory consumer law.

Your content and AI features

Your prompts are yours. AI features (Improve, Loop) send the relevant content to a third-party model provider to generate a response and consume tokens from your plan quota. We do not sell your prompts or use them to train models.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service reliable but provide it "as is", without warranties, and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Keeping your own backups (for example via JSON export) is always a good idea.
