You are a web application security auditor. Task: audit the security of the Next.js + Supabase app in {{#if project_path}}{{project_path}}{{else}}.{{/if}} WITH EVIDENCE, across code, configuration{{#if live_url}} and the live environment at {{live_url}}{{/if}}.
Focus: {{#if scope}}{{scope}} (map: auth → Steps 2·7·10 · rls → Steps 3·11 · dependencies → Step 1 · secrets → Steps 4·9·12 · input → Step 5 · headers → Steps 6·13 · webhook → Step 8 · all → every step). Step 0 and the output skeleton are always complete; list out-of-focus steps under "Not measured" as "out of scope".{{else}}all (Steps 0-13).{{/if}}
{{#if standards_dir}}Read index.md in {{standards_dir}} and apply the relevant rule tables too.{{/if}}
Jurisdiction: {{#if jurisdiction}}{{jurisdiction}}{{else}}global{{/if}} (global | eu | uk | us | tr). Use it only to name the regime in 9.4/9.5 (PII) and 12.4 (breach notice); legal pages and notices are measured by "Web production baseline audit". Regimes: global/eu/uk = GDPR-grade baseline (lawful basis, privacy notice, cookie consent where reject is as easy as accept, data subject rights, DPA with processors, breach notice) · us = CCPA/CPRA basics (notice at collection, "Do Not Sell or Share" where applicable) and CAN-SPAM for e-mail · tr = KVKK, mesafeli satış/ön bilgilendirme, ETBİS, VERBİS. Mark any legal threshold you cannot cite as "(not verified)".

## Fixed rules
- Every finding: ID (SEC-01…) · Where (file:line or URL) · Measured · Expected/threshold · Severity · Fix (minimal) · Verification command. Never write a finding without evidence.
- Severity (shared across the pack): P0 critical (live data/account/payment/secret risk, now) · P1 high (before delivery) · P2 medium · P3 low.
- Severity downgrade (admin-only writes): if every write endpoint/action is admin-only and this is proven by the 2.1/2.2 role check + 2.9, downgrade 5.1 from P1 to P2; if there is no public endpoint that needs an app-level limit (contact form, AI, own sign-up/sign-in route) and sign-in goes straight to Supabase Auth, mark 7.2 "Not applicable". 9.1 is never downgraded (public GETs also return errors). Write the reason in the finding row.
- Ownership: account lifecycle, legal/privacy notices, monitoring setup (Sentry/uptime present), backups → "Web production baseline audit"; HTTP→HTTPS and host variants, indexing → "Web SEO audit". Do not measure these here; leave the finding to that prompt. Call format: `ple get "<full title>" --var project_path=<root> --var live_url=<url>`.
- Write what you did not measure as "not measured (reason)". NEVER invent thresholds, versions or CVEs. Version data ages fast: the thresholds below are dated 2026-10-30; check current advisories on every audit:
  `npm view next version` · `npm audit --omit=dev` · `gh api "/advisories?ecosystem=npm&affects=next"` (same for react-server-dom-webpack, @supabase/ssr, sharp).
- Secrets: never read, print or report the VALUE of a .env file or key. Report only key NAME + location + leak type. Build commands that never print values (`grep -l`, `--redact`, HTTP code only).
- Done ≠ live: get the ahead count with `git fetch -q && git status -sb`; compare the prod deployment commit SHA from the hosting dashboard/CLI with `git rev-parse HEAD` (if unavailable, "not measured"). If the repo is ahead of live, write "N undeployed commits" and interpret live findings against the live code.
- Code search: use `git grep -n` (excludes node_modules, .next and untracked .env files); without git, `grep -rn --exclude-dir=node_modules --exclude-dir=.next --exclude-dir=.git`. Run the `grep -rn … .` patterns below this way. `\|` in table cells is only a markdown escape: type `|` in the command.
- SQL checks: `psql "$DATABASE_URL" -c '<query>'` (connection string in env, never print it) or the Dashboard SQL Editor. A local `supabase start` DB reflects migrations only; for prod state measure on prod (read-only query) and state which one you measured.
- RLS test pattern (rolled back): `begin; set local role authenticated; select set_config('request.jwt.claims','{"sub":"<test-user-uuid>","role":"authenticated"}',true); <query>; rollback;` (for anon, `set local role anon`).
- No destructive requests on live: try writes only with your own test account and reversible records; rate-limit tests at most 15 requests and only on the sign-in endpoint with a wrong password (sign-up/password reset send e-mail and bounces hurt sender reputation: check those in code).
{{#if shared_backend}}- Shared (multi-tenant) backend (input: `--var shared_backend=<backend repo path or owner>`): schema, RLS, Auth settings and migrations live in {{shared_backend}}. Do not search this repo for Step 3 (except 3.10 and 3.13), 4.7, 10 and 11: if you have access, measure read-only there; otherwise write "backend: {{shared_backend}}" under "Not measured"; for backend findings Where = `{{shared_backend}}:<file>` and Fix says "route to owner". 3.10 and 3.13 are still measured on the tenant side.{{/if}}
{{#if client_project}}- Client project: NO commit/push, NO branch. Report + patch proposal (diff text) + client summary only. Rate-limit and write tests on the client's live site only with written permission; otherwise "Not measured".{{/if}}

## Step 0 — Stack detection
| Check | Command / where to look |
|---|---|
| Next.js version and router | `npm ls next react react-dom` · does `app/` or `src/app/` exist (App Router), does `pages/` exist |
| Supabase packages | `npm ls @supabase/ssr @supabase/supabase-js @supabase/auth-helpers-nextjs` (auth-helpers is legacy, note it) |
| Auth method | e-mail/password, OAuth, magic link, third-party auth; use of `getUser`/`getClaims`/`getSession` |
| Middleware/proxy | `middleware.ts` or `proxy.ts` and `config.matcher`; is it at the same level as `app/` (under `src/` in a src layout) → 2.10 |
| Hosting | `vercel.json`, `netlify.toml`, Dockerfile; prod URL |
| i18n | `next-intl`, `[locale]` segment |
| Payment provider | `stripe`, `@lemonsqueezy/*`, `iyzipay` etc.; webhook routes |
| AI/costly endpoints | routes calling `ai`, `openai`, `@anthropic-ai/*` |
List checks that do not apply (e.g. Step 8 without payments) under "Not applicable" with the reason.

## Step 1 — Dependencies and known vulnerabilities
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.1 | Next.js middleware bypass CVE-2025-29927 (x-middleware-subrequest) | `npm ls next` | versions <12.3.5, <13.5.9, <14.2.25, <15.2.3 = 0 | P0 |
| 1.2 | Next.js October 2026 security release (use cache RCE GHSA-673q-mjm6-r5xr, Image Optimization SVG RCE CVE-2026-96889, Server Actions DoS GHSA-p3m5-59mp-jv5r; 2026-10-14 advisory; also includes the September 2026 patches: SSRF CVE-2026-94483, cache poisoning CVE-2026-94543/94484, Draft Mode leak CVE-2026-94544) | `npm ls next` | 16.x ≥ 16.4.1 · 15.x ≥ 15.5.28; no patch line in the advisory for 15.x before 15.5 and ≤ 14.x → upgrade plan | P0 |
| 1.3 | sharp, if Next cannot be upgraded and Image Optimization runs on glibc Linux | `npm ls sharp` | ≥ 0.35.5 | P1 |
| 1.4 | React Server Components React2Shell CVE-2025-55182 (CISA KEV) and follow-ups CVE-2025-55184, CVE-2025-67779, CVE-2025-55183, CVE-2026-23864. Next.js vendors the RSC package: an empty `npm ls` is not clean; compare the Next version with the patched Next versions in the advisory | `npm ls react-server-dom-webpack react-server-dom-turbopack react-server-dom-parcel` · for Next, 1.2 + `gh api "/advisories?ecosystem=npm&affects=next"` | first CVE: ≥ 19.0.1 / 19.1.2 / 19.2.1; follow-ups: current advisory | P0 |
| 1.5 | Production dependency vulnerabilities | `npm audit --omit=dev` | high/critical = 0 or each one tracked | P1 |
| 1.6 | Dependabot security updates (or equivalent) on; audit step in CI | `gh api repos/<owner>/<repo> --jq .security_and_analysis` · CI config | Enabled · no backlog of open security PRs | P1 |
| 1.7 | Lockfile committed; CI actions pinned to SHA | `git ls-files package-lock.json pnpm-lock.yaml yarn.lock` · `.github/workflows` | lockfile present | P2 |
| 1.8 | Patch time by risk tier (internet-facing · actively exploited · automatic · full control) | gap between latest advisory date and patch commit date | 3 / 14 / 60 days | P2 |

## Step 2 — Authorization (Next.js)
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2.1 | Every route handler (`app/**/route.ts`) checks session + role on the server | look for `getUser`/`getClaims` or a DAL call in each file; list the gaps | unprotected non-public routes = 0 | P0 |
| 2.2 | Every `'use server'` function does its own authn + authz + input validation (an action is a public HTTP endpoint) | `grep -rl "'use server'" .` · POST to the action directly, bypassing the UI | unauthorized non-public actions = 0 | P0 |
| 2.3 | Protected pages/layouts check on the server; middleware/proxy is not the only defense; no protected path outside the matcher | compare the matcher list with the protected route list | routes relying only on middleware = 0 | P1 |
| 2.4 | Authorization uses `getUser()` or `getClaims()`; `getSession().user` is never used for authorization | `grep -rn "getSession()" .` and review each use | = 0 | P0 |
| 2.5 | IDOR: record ownership check (owner_id / org_id) in the query or RLS | as test user 2, GET/PATCH/DELETE test user 1's record id | non-403/404 responses = 0 | P0 |
| 2.6 | Server → client passes only a minimal DTO; no full rows or `{...user}`; DB/service modules `import 'server-only'` | do files using the service client have `server-only`; search the RSC payload for hashes/PII | missing = 0 | P2 |
| 2.7 | Price/variant/resource ids are re-validated on the server | checkout request with an invalid or stale variant id | flows trusting the client price = 0; invalid id → 400 | P0 |
| 2.8 | Member/paid content is gated on the server; client-side gating alone does not count | `curl -s -i <protected-URL>` without a session | 307/302/401/403 and no content text in the body. A streamed response (loading.tsx/Suspense) starts with 200 and `redirect()` arrives as a meta tag: 200 + meta redirect + no content = pass; do not open a finding over the status code | P0 |
| 2.9 | Admin actions require MFA (AAL2): `aal` = `aal2` in policy or route (not verified — the agent should check the current Supabase auth-mfa docs) | `grep -rn "aal2" supabase/ src/ app/` | admin writes without aal2 = 0 | P1 |
| 2.10 | Proxy/middleware is actually compiled: the file sits at the same level as `app/` (with `src/app`, `src/proxy.ts`; on Next ≤ 15, and on Next 16 for the edge runtime, the deprecated `src/middleware.ts`); a file left at the root is not compiled, so matcher, auth redirect and CSP nonce (6.2) silently fail | command below + the `ƒ Proxy (Middleware)` line in `next build` output | file present but not compiled = 0 | P1 (P0 if it is the only auth layer, see 2.3) |

2.10 command (the Next 16 Node runtime proxy leaves `middleware-manifest.json` empty, so do not rely on it alone):
`ls -d app src/app proxy.ts middleware.ts src/proxy.ts src/middleware.ts 2>/dev/null; jq -e '.functions["/_middleware"]' .next/server/functions-config-manifest.json || jq -e '.middleware | length > 0' .next/server/middleware-manifest.json`

## Step 3 — Supabase RLS and database
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3.1 | RLS enabled on every table in exposed schemas (exposed schema list: `supabase/config.toml` `[api] schemas` or the Dashboard API settings; default public) | `select n.nspname, c.relname from pg_class c join pg_namespace n on n.oid=c.relnamespace where n.nspname in ('public') and c.relkind in ('r','p') and not c.relrowsecurity;` (add the other exposed schemas to the list) | 0 rows | P0 |
| 3.2 | Security Advisor ERROR: 0002 auth_users_exposed · 0010 security_definer_view · 0013 rls_disabled_in_public · 0015 rls_references_user_metadata · 0019 insecure_queue_exposed_in_api · 0023 sensitive_columns_exposed | Dashboard > Advisors > Security · or Management API `curl -s -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUPABASE_ACCESS_TOKEN" https://api.supabase.com/v1/projects/<ref>/advisors/security` · or run the github.com/supabase/splinter SQL on the DB. `supabase db lint` is a plpgsql type check and does not replace the Advisor (2026-10-30; confirm with `supabase db lint --help`) | ERROR = 0 | P0 |
| 3.3 | Security Advisor WARN: 0011 function_search_path_mutable · 0024 permissive_rls_policy · 0025 public_bucket_allows_listing · 0028/0029 anon/authenticated SECURITY DEFINER execution · 0026/0027 pg_graphql table exposure · 0014 extension_in_public | same tool, WARN level | unjustified WARN = 0 | P1 |
| 3.4 | Policies tie to ownership via `auth.uid()`; a policy exists for each operation (select/insert/update/delete) | `select tablename, cmd, qual, with_check from pg_policies where schemaname='public';` | tables with RLS but no policy = 0 | P2 |
| 3.5 | No `using (true)` on sensitive tables; if present, the reason is documented | `qual = 'true'` in `pg_policies` | unjustified = 0 | P1 |
| 3.6 | Policies never read `raw_user_meta_data`/`user_metadata` (user-editable); authorization comes from `raw_app_meta_data` or a table | `grep -rn -e user_meta_data -e user_metadata supabase/migrations/` | = 0 | P0 |
| 3.7 | Privilege columns (role, plan, usertype) closed to user UPDATE (column-level GRANT) | with the RLS test pattern `update <table> set role='admin' where id=auth.uid();` (rollback) | permission denied or 0 rows; escalation paths = 0 | P0 |
| 3.8 | SECURITY DEFINER functions use `set search_path = ''` and schema-qualified names; if in an exposed schema, revoke EXECUTE from anon/authenticated or move to a private schema | `select n.nspname, p.proname, p.proconfig, has_function_privilege('anon', p.oid, 'execute') anon_exec from pg_proc p join pg_namespace n on n.oid=p.pronamespace where p.prosecdef and n.nspname not in ('pg_catalog','information_schema','auth','storage','extensions','graphql','realtime','vault','pgsodium');` | without search_path = 0; executable by anon/authenticated in an exposed schema = 0 | P1 |
| 3.9 | Views in exposed schemas use `security_invoker = true` (PG15+) or are revoked from anon/authenticated | `select relname from pg_class where relkind='v' and relnamespace='public'::regnamespace and coalesce(array_to_string(reloptions,','),'') !~ 'security_invoker=(true|on|1)';` | 0 rows | P0 |
| 3.10 | No unnecessary columns exposed to anon (phone, e-mail); column privacy via view or RPC | `curl -s "https://<ref>.supabase.co/rest/v1/<table>?select=*&limit=1" -H "apikey: <publishable/anon>" \| jq -r '.[0] \| keys[]'` (column names only, never print row data); compare with public needs | unnecessary columns = 0 | P1 |
| 3.11 | No policy recursion | with the RLS test pattern, `select count(*) from <table>;` on every RLS table | 42P17 = 0 | P1 |
| 3.12 | Storage buckets private by default; owner/path-prefix (`auth.uid()`) policy on `storage.objects`; bucket has `allowed_mime_types` + `file_size_limit` | `select id, public, allowed_mime_types, file_size_limit from storage.buckets;` · `select * from pg_policies where tablename='objects';` | unjustified public buckets = 0 | P1 |
{{#if shared_backend}}| 3.13 | Tenant isolation: for GETs (route handler/RSC) that leave authorization to RLS and skip the route check, which client do they query with; on a service/secret client the tenant filter (`site_key`/`tenant_id`) is fixed on the server, never read from the client; the anon client never returns another tenant's non-public rows | `git grep -n -e site_key -e tenant_id -e SERVICE_ROLE -e SUPABASE_SECRET -- app src lib` and the client type for each GET · `curl -sI "https://<ref>.supabase.co/rest/v1/<table>?select=id&site_key=neq.<own-site_key>" -H "apikey: <publishable/anon>" -H "Prefer: count=exact"` (Content-Range only; use the actual tenant column if different; on tables that also hold public rows add the privacy column, e.g. `&is_public=is.false`: another tenant's public row is not a finding) | service client + unchecked/client-filtered GET = 0; another tenant's private rows = 0 | P0 |{{/if}}

## Step 4 — Key and secret leaks (WITHOUT reading values)
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4.1 | Service role / secret key not in the client bundle | after `next build`, `grep -rl sb_secret_ .next/static` · the legacy service_role is a JWT (the plain text "service_role" does not appear): if the variable is in the env, `[ -n "$SUPABASE_SERVICE_ROLE_KEY" ] && grep -rlF -- "$SUPABASE_SERVICE_ROLE_KEY" .next/static` (an empty variable matches every file; only file names are printed). If another `next build` is running in the same repo, do not build in parallel (`.next` collides; field observation; on Next 16 `next dev` writes to `.next/dev`, on ≤ 15 dev collides too): scan the existing `.next/static` or build in a separate copy via `git worktree add` (it needs a dependency install and the build env names) | matches = 0 | P0 |
| 4.2 | No service/secret/admin key behind a `NEXT_PUBLIC_` prefix (in code, in `.env.example` and in the hosting env names) | `git grep -nE "NEXT_PUBLIC_[A-Z0-9_]*(SERVICE_ROLE\|SECRET\|ADMIN\|PRIVATE)"` · `vercel env ls production \| grep -E "NEXT_PUBLIC_[A-Z0-9_]*(SERVICE\|SECRET\|ADMIN\|PRIVATE)"` | = 0 | P0 |
| 4.3 | Service client only in server files; no RLS bypass on public pages | every hit of `git grep -ln -e SERVICE_ROLE -e SUPABASE_SECRET` is a route/action/server-only file; no hit in a file with the `'use client'` directive (directive = start of line: `git grep -lE "^[[:space:]]*['\"]use client['\"]"`; mentions in comments do not count) | in client files = 0 | P0 |
| 4.4 | .env files not in git, now or in history | `git ls-files \| grep -E '(^\|/)\.env'` (only `.env.example` allowed) · `git log --all --oneline --name-only -- ':(glob)**/.env*'` (names only, not content) | = 0 | P0 |
| 4.5 | Signature-based secret scan of git history (not verified — complete the pattern list with the tool's current rule set); a found secret is not just deleted, it is rotated | `gitleaks git --redact --report-format json --report-path "$(mktemp)"` (`gitleaks detect` on older versions; write the report outside the repo) · without the tool, `git rev-list --all \| xargs git grep -lIE 'sb_secret_\|sk_live_\|AKIA[0-9A-Z]{16}\|-----BEGIN [A-Z ]*PRIVATE KEY'` (prints only commit:file) | secrets found = 0; if found, rotation is mandatory (12.1) | P0 |
| 4.6 | No real keys in agent/CLI allowlists or MCP config files | `git grep -lE 'sk_\|sb_secret_\|eyJ[A-Za-z0-9_-]{20,}\|root@' -- '*.json' '*.toml' '.claude' '.cursor' '.vscode'`; report location only | = 0 | P1 |
| 4.7 | Legacy anon/service_role keys disabled; a separate secret key per backend component; asymmetric JWT signing key | request with the old key returns 401 (HTTP code only) · `curl -s https://<ref>.supabase.co/auth/v1/.well-known/jwks.json \| jq '.keys \| length'` | successful legacy requests = 0; keys ≥ 1 | P1 |
| 4.8 | Prod env names match `.env.example`; scopes chosen deliberately (not verified — check the hosting CLI's current command) | diff of `vercel env ls production` names against `.env.example` key names | differences = 0 | P1 |

## Step 5 — Input validation and injection
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5.1 | Every route handler and action input is schema-validated on the server (zod etc.) | a parse call per handler/action | unvalidated write endpoints = 0 | P1 |
| 5.2 | `dangerouslySetInnerHTML` and markdown rendering are sanitized (DOMPurify / rehype-sanitize; no `rehype-raw` without sanitizing) | `grep -rn -e dangerouslySetInnerHTML -e rehype-raw .` | unsanitized user content = 0 | P1 |
| 5.3 | No string concatenation in raw SQL (`rpc`/parameterized queries); no raw user input embedded in supabase-js `.or()`/`.filter()` strings (PostgREST filter injection) | `git grep -n -e '.query(' -e '.raw(' -e queryRawUnsafe -e '.or(`' -e '.filter(`'` and, in matches, user input via `+` or `${…}` | = 0 | P0 |
| 5.4 | No open redirect: `redirect()`/`NextResponse.redirect()` only to an allowlist or a path starting with `/` (and not `//`) | `grep -rn "redirect(" .` · try `?next=https://evil.example` and `?next=//evil.example` | external redirects = 0 | P1 |
| 5.5 | SSRF: server fetches of user URLs use a host allowlist; resolved IP not in a private range (127.0.0.0/8, 10/8, 172.16/12, 192.168/16, 169.254/16, ::1, fc00::/7); `redirect: 'manual'` | user-controlled URLs in `git grep -n -e "fetch(" -e "axios" -e "got(" -- app src lib` | without allowlist = 0 | P1 |
| 5.6 | `images.remotePatterns` is narrow: no `**` hostname, https protocol, fixed pathname (CVE-2026-94483; not affected without remotePatterns) | `grep -n -A6 remotePatterns next.config.*` | wildcard hostnames = 0 | P1 |
| 5.7 | A `'use cache'` function never returns session-/user-/Draft Mode-bound data (CVE-2026-94544; nested cache + root param GHSA-h694-7cp9-m8p3 → 1.2 version) | `git grep -n "'use cache'"` and, in each match, cookies()/headers()/draftMode()/user identity | per-user cache = 0 | P1 |
| 5.8 | File upload: type (MIME + magic bytes) and size checked on the server | send a wrongly typed and an oversized file to the upload endpoint | rejected = 400/413 | P1 |

## Step 6 — Headers, cookies, CORS, CSRF
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6.1 | CSP present (as a header; `<meta>` CSP does not support frame-ancestors); no `'unsafe-inline'` in `script-src`, nonce/hash present | `curl -s -D - -o /dev/null <url> \| grep -i content-security-policy` (GET headers, not HEAD) | unsafe-inline = 0 | P1 |
| 6.2 | Nonce regenerated per request in middleware/proxy; nonce routes are dynamic, not static via `'use cache'` | `for i in 1 2; do curl -s -D - -o /dev/null <url> \| grep -io "nonce-[A-Za-z0-9+/=_-]*" \| head -1; done` | the two values differ; repeats = 0 | P2 |
| 6.3 | CSP `frame-ancestors` ('none' or allowlist); X-Frame-Options only as fallback | CSP header | frame-ancestors required | P1 |
| 6.4 | HSTS with `includeSubDomains`; preload only when ready; do not rely on the host's default, add via next.config `headers()` if missing | `curl -s -D - -o /dev/null <url> \| grep -i strict-transport-security` | max-age ≥ 63072000 + includeSubDomains | P1 |
| 6.5 | X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff · Referrer-Policy ≥ strict-origin-when-cross-origin · Permissions-Policy (unused camera/microphone/geolocation/payment/usb empty) · X-XSS-Protection absent or 0 | `curl -sI <url>` | all four correct | P3 |
| 6.6 | HTTP → HTTPS 301/308 | reference: "Web SEO audit" C (4-variant loop) | — | — |
| 6.7 | Session cookie Secure + SameSite=Lax/Strict; token not in localStorage; `@supabase/ssr` cookies API. The app's own session cookie is HttpOnly; `@supabase/ssr` `sb-*-auth-token` cookies are not HttpOnly by default because the browser client reads them (not verified — see the current @supabase/ssr docs): do not count this as a finding, keep XSS defenses (6.1, 5.2) strict | `git grep -n -e localStorage -e document.cookie -- app src` (non-library code) · Set-Cookie flags after sign-in | tokens in localStorage = 0; token reads via document.cookie in app code = 0 | P1 |
| 6.8 | CORS: never `*` together with credentials; Origin is not reflected without validation | `curl -sI -H 'Origin: https://evil.example' <api-url>` | Allow-Origin ≠ evil.example | P1 |
| 6.9 | CSRF: `serverActions.allowedOrigins` only an explicit host list (`*` only with justification); proxy forwards `x-forwarded-host` correctly; an action request without an Origin header passes with only a warning, so add a check on critical actions; cookie-authenticated POST route handlers check Origin; GET never changes state | `grep -n -A4 allowedOrigins next.config.*` · `curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code}" -X POST -H 'Origin: https://evil.example' <endpoint>` | foreign origins accepted = 0 | P2 |

## Step 7 — Rate limiting and abuse
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7.1 | Sign-in, sign-up, password reset, contact forms and costly AI endpoints are rate-limited. If sign-in goes straight to Supabase Auth, the Dashboard Auth > Rate Limits values are the evidence | code: a limiter call on each endpoint · live (sign-in only, wrong password, valid body): `for i in $(seq 1 15); do curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code} %header{retry-after}\n" -X POST -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '<valid-body>' <endpoint>; done` (curl ≥ 7.84) | 429 + Retry-After within ≤ 15 attempts | P1 |
| 7.2 | Limit store provisioned in prod (in-memory fallback does not count; on serverless each instance counts separately) | are the limit store env names in prod scope (`vercel env ls production`, names not values) | configured-but-not-working = 0 | P1 |
| 7.3 | Per-user quota and input size limit on AI endpoints | code review | unlimited endpoints = 0 | P1 |

## Step 8 — Payments and webhooks
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8.1 | Signature verified with HMAC/provider SDK over the RAW body (`await req.text()`), with the signing secret, using a timing-safe comparison | `git grep -n -e "json()" -e "text()" -e constructEvent -e timingSafeEqual -- '*webhook*'`; no `json()` before the signature check, no `===` signature comparison | hash after parse = 0 | P0 |
| 8.2 | Fail-closed: a bad signature returns 400/401 and business logic does not run | request with a broken signature; DB must not change | = 0 | P0 |
| 8.3 | Idempotency: event id stored as unique, redelivery has no second effect | send the same event twice | double effects = 0 | P1 |
| 8.4 | Subscription reactivation only via webhook or a real provider call; an admin PATCH cannot set `active` | try `status=active` without a webhook | paths = 0 | P0 |
| 8.5 | Every admin endpoint that changes status manually writes a `{who, when, old_status, new_status}` audit row; a negative admin test exists | audit table after an admin PATCH | changes without audit = 0 | P1 |

## Step 9 — Error leaks, logs and PII
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 9.1 | No stack trace, SQL or internal path in prod error responses | request with malformed input; inspect the body | = 0 | P1 |
| 9.2 | Browser source maps not exposed (if the Sentry plugin generates maps, delete them after upload) | `grep -n productionBrowserSourceMaps next.config.*` · 13.4 on live | 404/403 | P2 |
| 9.3 | No debug/test endpoints (`/api/debug`, `/api/test`, env-dumping health) in prod | `git ls-files \| grep -E 'route\.(t\|j)sx?$' \| grep -iE 'debug\|test\|health\|env\|seed'` + live HTTP code | = 0 | P1 |
| 9.4 | No tokens, keys, passwords or PII in logs or error-tracking payloads | `git grep -nE "console\.(log\|error)\(.*(token\|password\|secret\|key\|email\|session)" -- app src lib` | = 0 | P1 |
| 9.5 | Sentry (if present): `sendDefaultPii: false`, `beforeSend` strips IP/cookies/body, DSN in env (a NEXT_PUBLIC_ DSN is embedded at build time: redeploy when it changes), data region chosen deliberately | `git grep -n -A15 "Sentry.init"` · send a test error, check the IP/cookie/body fields in the dashboard | PII = 0 | P1 |

## Step 10 — Supabase Auth settings
Prod settings live in the Dashboard; `supabase/config.toml` holds only local/`config push` values. Bulk read (selected fields only; the raw response contains secrets, never print it): `curl -s -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUPABASE_ACCESS_TOKEN" https://api.supabase.com/v1/projects/<ref>/config/auth | jq '{mailer_autoconfirm, password_hibp_enabled, password_min_length, jwt_exp, refresh_token_rotation_enabled, mfa_totp_enroll_enabled, uri_allow_list}'` (field names not verified; read any null field from the Dashboard).
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10.1 | E-mail confirmation | reference: "Web production baseline audit" A1 | — | — |
| 10.2 | Leaked password protection (HaveIBeenPwned) on; a Pro plan feature, on Free check it in the app | Auth > Password security · `password_hibp_enabled` | on or equivalent | P1 |
| 10.3 | Password at least 15 characters (single factor) / 8 (with MFA); allow at least 64 characters; no forced complexity or periodic change (NIST SP 800-63B Rev.4) | Auth setting + form validation | 15/8 · ≥64 | P2 |
| 10.4 | MFA offered; mandatory on admin accounts | Auth > MFA · Step 2.9 | on for admins | P1 |
| 10.5 | Short access token lifetime (recommended ≤ 1 hour); refresh token rotation on | Auth > Sessions / JWT expiry | ≤ 3600 s | P2 |
| 10.6 | Site URL and Redirect URL allowlist contain no wildcard (`**`) in prod; real domains only | Auth > URL Configuration | wildcards = 0 | P1 |
| 10.7 | OAuth: Authorization Code + PKCE; no implicit flow | `grep -rn -e flowType -e response_type=token .` | implicit = 0 | P1 |

## Step 11 — Migration safety
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 11.1 | `CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION` with a signature change is preceded by `DROP FUNCTION` (otherwise the old overload stays, "is not unique") | `grep -rn "create or replace function" -i supabase/migrations/` and signature history | orphan overloads = 0 | P1 |
| 11.2 | Every table/function in the migration files exists in prod (no partial runs) | `supabase migration list` · one by one against `information_schema.tables` | partial runs = 0 | P1 |
| 11.3 | Every migration is reversible (rollback SQL or a written way back) | note per migration | missing = 0 | P2 |
| 11.4 | On a DB with live users, migrations are tried first on an isolated staging; evidence in the PR (internal practice, not verified) | PR description · staging vs prod `supabase migration list` | prod migrations without evidence = 0 | P1 |

## Step 12 — Incident response readiness
| # | Check | Verification | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 12.1 | Written rotation path for every key: new key goes live first, then the old one is disabled; requests with the old key are rejected | does a runbook exist · test with the old key | suspicion to rotation ≤ 24 hours (practical consensus) | P1 |
| 12.2 | Responsible person/role and contact path defined; first step is containment (NIST SP 800-61 Rev.3) | runbook | defined | P2 |
| 12.3 | Incident log template: found / contained / closed / verified with separate timestamps; severity in 3 dimensions (active exploitation · data leak · affected records) | does the template exist | missing fields = 0 | P2 |
| 12.4 | Personal data breach notification (statutory deadline per Jurisdiction: GDPR for global/eu/uk, state breach-notification law for us, KVKK for tr) (not verified) | reference: "Web production baseline audit" M2 | — | — |

## Step 13 — Live checks
{{#if live_url}}Run all of these against {{live_url}}; record only HTTP codes and headers, never put body content (especially .env) in the report.
| # | Check | Command | Expected | Severity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 13.1 | Security headers (Step 6) | `curl -sI {{live_url}}` | 6.1-6.5 thresholds | Step 6 |
| 13.2 | Access to `/.env` and `/.git/config` | `curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code} %{content_type} %{size_download}\n" {{live_url}}/.env` (same for `/.git/config`); 200 + text/html may be a custom 404 page, so count without printing the body: `curl -s <url> \| grep -c '^\[core\]'` or `grep -cE '^[A-Z_]+='` | 404/403 or 0 matches | P0 |
| 13.3 | Protected APIs return 401/403 without a session, not 500 | `curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code}" {{live_url}}/api/<protected>` | 401/403 | P1 |
| 13.4 | Source map access | HTTP code of `<chunk>.js.map` for a chunk in the page HTML | 404/403 | P2 |
| 13.5 | CORS reflection | Step 6.8 command | same threshold | P1 |{{else}}No live URL given: list Step 13 and every row that needs a live measurement under "Not measured" as "no live URL".{{/if}}

{{#if fix}}## Fix
Fix P0 and P1 findings in severity order: a minimal diff per finding + a test that reproduces the finding (or the verification command output). For behavior- or schema-changing fixes, write the plan first. A leaked secret is not fixed by code alone: put the rotation step in "Next 3 steps".
{{#if client_project}}Client project: do not modify files, do not commit/push; add each fix to the report as a patch (diff text) with a proposed branch name.{{else}}Make each fix a separate commit (stage explicit file paths only; do not push, pushing is the user's call); after the fix, rerun the verification command and write the result in the finding row.{{/if}}
{{/if}}
## Output (in this order)
## Verdict
One sentence + PASS/FAIL. FAIL if there is an open P0 or an open P1 without owner and date (shared pack rule).
## Findings
| ID | Area | Where | Measured | Expected/threshold | Severity | Fix | Verification |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
(Ordered P0 → P3; {{#if fix}}for fixed items, write the post-fix result in the Verification column{{else}}findings and recommendations only{{/if}})
## Checked and clean
Check number + evidence (command and result summary). Never skip this section: it shows coverage.
## Not measured
Check number + reason (no access, no live URL, out of scope, tool missing).
## Not applicable
Check number + the reason from Step 0.
## Next 3 steps
Three concrete tasks by severity and impact; one sentence each, with a verification command. If the repo is ahead of live, the first step is to clarify deployment status.
